Nice to meet you! My name is Andre Amor (Rodz Andrie Amor), I am a student at the University of Maryland studying Computer Science and Applied Mathematics with a minor in Computational Finance.
I'm passionate about entrepreneurship, learning more math, and meeting new people.

- Engineering a Metadata Caching Service for the Storage Platform team under Cloud Infrastructure Engineering , utilizing Spring Boot with AWS S3, DynamoDB, and Caffeine, a high performance in-memory Java caching library.
- Developing an application that serves REST, GraphQL, and gRPC endpoints receiving over 1,000,000 requests/hour.
- Achieving <1 ms read retrieval latency using 2 caching layers to cache several 100s of GBs of S3 metadata objects.

- Worked with the Cloud Engineering Scale Team to develop a robust traffic manager, performing load balancing and distributing traffic across multiple cloud datacenter regions.
- Utilized Azure OpenAI Studio to deploy fine-tuned GPT-4o model and managed the endpoints with PromptFlow.
- Achieved SLA goals of 99.99% reliability and sub-10-minute processing with a load test of 350 IcMs/second.
